PTFE hose can handle extremes of temperature that are suitable for many applications. It is effective at continuous surface temperatures up to 260 degrees centigrade and can sustain much higher temperatures over shorter periods. It is an extremely durable material. It is not affected by the ultraviolet and is resistant to oxidation, discoloration, and embrittlement.
PTFE hoses offer high electrical resistance and dielectric strength. It is non-reactive; therefore, it is widely used in chemical factories dealing with acid, alkalis, and other highly reactive chemicals. PTFE hose is internally layered with the braided stainless steel design which ensures a smooth flow of liquids in fluctuating pressure and works easily in the vacuum as well. Due to its non-stick inner core, PTFE hose can perform in the harsh environmental conditions, which make it a widely acceptable component in industrial applications.
